I talked to Linda tonight. She said thank you for all your prayers and support.
The therapist that came last week told Linda that the house needed some things moved for the walker to be able to move around and it would be hard for one person to do it alone. She didn’t know how she could get it done.
After Marion talked with her mom, Linda, Marion called her friend, Jen, at LIFE. Jen and her new husband Tim showed up yesterday and spent hours helping around the house. For the sake of clearing confusion – Marion, Linda’s daughter was named after her grandma, Linda’s mom.
A funny little note – Marion called her Mom to tell her that Jen & Tim where at the door.
Also Linda’s sister-in-law Kari went down yesterday. After a Ladies Retreat – Kari’s church provided the finances for her to go to LA. Kari will be there five more days.
Linda said Friday’s doctor appointment was hard. They have to decide whether/when to start dialysis. Dialysis is hard on your body both physically and emotionally. And there are three other diseases they heard she has that are connected with the kidneys. They will be going to classes to learn about these things. If you have ever been in this situation you know how taxing this can be on your emotions.
Marion’s church has been coming over to the house and doing little things for them. Linda said it is so great seeing the church acting like the body of Christ.
