Mike Stephens - February 2008

Mike called on February 19th asking for prayer and to tell us that he has something amiss going on in his brain.


February 20th

Thanks for praying! Mike is off to his appointment. The unknown is so vast. I have to say I have peace. Some might say that its denial, but it’s different. God is so faithful and good.

February 21

Mike had a lot of blood tests. They were not able to tell him much of anything. It is the initial referral into the specialist system. He will be having more tests done by the end of the month. They plan to inject dye into his bloodstream and do another MRI. He was concerned about the interest level of the doctors. He seems satisfied with the treatment so far. Did I tell you that Mike’s brother Jim died this past July of a brain aneurism? I think that raises the concern.

So, no real news yet. I will keep you posted as info comes in. Thanks for praying.
